Kitchen porter — Rimin Gado

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Rimin Gado, Kano State. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. On a typical shift you will top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass. Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards 1+ years on the tools preferred.
