Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Logan County, Nebraska. The job is in a busy paint shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms The role involves: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
