Vacancy available: we are hiring a press setter operator in Polk County, Texas. You will be based on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
