Great opportunity: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Modoc County, California. You will be based at a busy tiling site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter On a typical shift you will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints.
