Short order cook — Quay County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a short order cook in Quay County, New Mexico. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking You will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
