Safety inspector — Summit County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Summit County, Utah. The job is at an oil and gas facility. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Full-time with occasional weekends.
