Now hiring: electrical wireman (Massachusetts)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an electrical wireman in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a busy electrical contractor. Requirements: • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter The role involves: • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
