Stitching operator wanted in Dillingham Census Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Your main tasks: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 5+ years on the tools preferred.
