Gas service engineer — Frederick County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Frederick County, Maryland. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes.
