Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Franklin County, Kansas. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
