We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Columbia County, Florida. You will work on an earthmoving and excavation site. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently You will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
