Kitchen steward — Craig County

Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Craig County, Virginia. You will be based in a catering unit. The role involves: • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature You should have: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
