We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Burnett County, Wisconsin. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
