Join our team: we are hiring a cook in Martin County, Kentucky. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. Requirements: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Six days a week, one day off.
