Commis chef — Marion County

Now hiring: we are hiring a commis chef in Marion County, Kentucky. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen On a typical shift you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
