We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Pike County, Illinois. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Part-time with flexible hours.
