Escalator technician — Wythe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Wythe County, Virginia. You will work at a busy lift company. Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
