Hand presser — Russell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Russell County, Alabama. You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
