Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Franklin County, Illinois. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. You should have: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Day to day you will fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges.
