Vacancy available: blocklayer (Missouri)

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Henry County, Missouri. Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
