We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Rush County, Kansas. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring 4+ years on the tools preferred.
