Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Coffee County, Tennessee. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
