Urgent requirement: overlocker operator (Vermont)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Orange County, Vermont. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Full-time with occasional weekends.
