Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Yoakum County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Full-time, day shift.
