Collision repair technician — DeKalb County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in DeKalb County, Indiana. You will be based at an accident repair garage. On the job you will handle: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience.
