Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Deuel County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
