Earthmoving plant operator — Gaya

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Gaya, Kano State. Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
