VMC operator wanted in Terrell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Terrell County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
