Cold store insulation technician — McMinn County

Join our team: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in McMinn County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Willing to travel between sites • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
