Kitchen porter — Caswell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Caswell County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. On a typical shift you will help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies. Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers 6+ years on the tools preferred.
