Bricklayer — Foster County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Foster County, North Dakota. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently You will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
