Wet plasterer — Des Moines County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Des Moines County, Iowa. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On the job you will handle: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
