Cake decorator — Gates County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cake decorator in Gates County, North Carolina. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. On the job you will handle: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
