We are recruiting: we are hiring a general labourer in Brown County, Texas. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites On a typical shift you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site.
