Sewing machine operator wanted in Dillon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Dillon County, South Carolina. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
