Immediate opening: foundry labourer (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Yolo County, California. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
