Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Jackson County, Kansas. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
