Turning centre operator — Floyd County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Floyd County, Iowa. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges We offer $28 per hour plus benefits.
