Roofing technician — Marquette County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in Marquette County, Michigan. The job is on residential new-build sites. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Day-to-day duties: • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Full-time, day shift.
