Skimming plasterer — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Montgomery County, Indiana. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On the job you will handle: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Rotating shifts.
