Garment presser — New Hanover County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in New Hanover County, North Carolina. You will be based in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
