You should have: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Day to day you will strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs.
