Concrete worker — Craven County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Craven County, North Carolina. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
