Steward — Brunswick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steward in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will be based in a catering unit. On a typical shift you will mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles. Requirements: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
