You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear.
