Overlocker operator — Winston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Winston County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
