Plant operator wanted in Stark County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Stark County, Illinois. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services You will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook.
