Lorry driver — Haywood County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lorry driver in Haywood County, North Carolina. The job is at a logistics warehouse. Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
