We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Sibley County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
