Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Your main tasks: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
